Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past Blog Hop

Hi there - Taylored Expressions is having a Blast from the Past Blog Hop today! My card features the Fresh Flowers stamp set! This is one of the most versatile stamp sets I have ever used! The inspiration photo is pictured above...and since this is my first TE Blog Hop, I tried to incorporate all the fun, bright colors into my card.

I started by stamping all the window images with Memento Rich Cocoa and then coloring them with copics and stamping them with my All Night Media woodgrain stamp. I kept on coloring until I got the look I wanted. I cut out the window panes so we could pretend they are just flat clear glass panes and we can see inside to the little table with the vase on top. The warm glow inside seems so inviting. I colored the tiny flowers for the flower box and cut them all out...it was tedious, but I enjoyed every minute of it! They are popped up in the window box and dotted with some Recollections pearls!

The background mat is Bazzill parakeet embossed with my Cuttlebug Stylized Flowers embossing folder and the My Minds Eye Dreamy 2 papers are all edged in Martha Stewart brown ink. The tiny tag sentiment is from the same stamp set and is stamped with Memento Bamboo leaves. It's popped up on top of a tag and a folder tab from the MME Dreamy 2 line as well. A little yellow bling and some lacey ribbon complete the design! I really hope you like it...have fun hopping around the Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past blog hop today!
