For Someone so Special...

Edit: This was chosen as the winner in The Shabby Tea Room's 1,2,3 Challenge!

What do you get when The Shabby Tea Room meets JustRite Stampers...a whole lot of shabby goodness! I have a very vintage card to share with you...it's for The Shabby Tea Room #20 called One, Two, Three and guess who their sponsor is...JustRite! I'm also playing over at Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #77 - Pins, at Pile It On #29 - Stretch that Plastic and at Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #4!

I was in my shabby mode todayand probably because I would love more than anything to win the prize over at The Shabby Tea Room this week! I got these great stamps at Michael's and they are so vintage and cool. I gathered up my trinkets and started putting it all together...and here you go!

I started with a calendar page I pulled out of a vintage calendar I just bought for $1 at Michael's and then cut out all my punched items. I heat embossed the Eiffel Tower stamp onto kraft paper and inked up all my edges with Distress Ink in Tea Dye. Then I just kept adding all the things I love until I just knew it was complete!

I love creating in this style the most. I feel like I can put all the little pieces of me into this style of card. I love pink, I love this yummy shabby seam binding from Simple Treasures Etsy Store...I love roses and the Eiffel Tower and pearls! This card is so me. It's like summer in Paris! I didn't follow a sketch...I just made it from the heart...and I really hope you like it!
