Edit: This card was chosen as Honorable Mention at JustRite Friday Challenge 028!
Hi there - had to make a quick post even on hubby's b-day. I made him dinner, we had cake and presents and now I need a tiny bit of me time. This summery card is inspired by the JustRite Friday Challenge called a picture is worth a thousand words. However, I love to combine challenges, so of course I worked it out!
I took this picture at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC when my daughter and I went on a field trip there. They were having a butterfly exhibit and you went into this special room and were surrounded by hundreds of butterflies! I will never forget that experience with her.
This stamp set from JustRite is becoming one of my "go to" sets to ink up and color. I love the size, the borders, really everything about it! I cut out the border and picture using my Spelbinders and popped up the pic in the center. The colored flowers are also poppedup and of course that beautiful sparkly butterfly! I even used half the border on the inside...see!
Well, I guess I have to get back to hubby time since it is his birthday.
Have a great night and I'll be back in the morning.
