The Shabby Tea Room Guest Designer

Good Morning! I am so excited to be the Guest Designer at The Shabby Tea Room this week! The theme this week is House and Home. I made a cone and card to share with you today.

I started with some great K & Co. Ancestry.com teal floral and letter flat dp and this great plaid. I was so inspired by the colors of the birdhouse at the challenge. I gathered up some of my favorites, especially these beautiful mini roses and lace doilie and it really came together! I inked up a new DRS Designs birdhouse stamp and colored it with my copics to match the theme colors. Then I cut it out with Spellbinders Labels 4. To finish off the card, some yummy silk ribbon, a beautiful flower and a handmade pin!

The birdhouse and chubby birds on the cone (also called a tussy mussy) is a Hampton Art stamp inked up with ColorBox Chestnut Roan and popped up with pop dots. I used my Spellbinders Borderabilities Classic Lace Border on the top of the cone in rich brown. This lace doilie and mini roses make is so sweet. I really hope you like it!
