Thinking of you...again

I'll be visiting a college with my son this weekend, so I wanted to share a card before I go. I love this new paper pad I got by My Minds Eye...it's all kraft cardstock with various patterns and graphics on them! I think this one I chose matched the Color Throwdown almost perfectly!

I wanted the beautiful rose to show on this card without being covered up, so I decided to use vellum and I think it works! This lovely lady is stamped onto the vellum with ColorBox Chestnut Roan chalk ink as well as the sentiment that is stamped directly onto the dp. I love the sketch Karen gave us this week too!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Challenges:
Color Throwdown #106 - soft sky, chocolate chip, kraft, celery
City Crafter Challege #18 - Isn't She Lovely - lady
Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #81 - great sketch!

My Crafty Recipe:
Stamps: Inkadinkado image, Stampendous sentiment
Ink: ColorBox Chestnut Roan
Paper: MME Kraft Cardstock paper pad, Bazzill french vanilla
Other: Deb's Simple Treasures Paradise Aqua Mist seam binding, vellum, Recollections mini roses and pearls

Thanks for stopping by!
