It's a JustRite Recipe Swap!

I'm having a day of JustRite posts today. I just had to join in on the JustRite Friday Challenge and the JUGS template challenge too! I used two sets of JustRite stamps for this project too...the Homemade Treats set and the Holiday Cheer set.

I used a template from My Time Made Easy called the Take Time Pocket. I think it's the perfect size for a little cellophane bag full of bite size treats! Unfortunately, I didn't have time to make a batch of this Peppermint Bark (my dd's Halloween Party is top of the list right now), so I used the next best thing I could find... Candy Cane Kisses (they actually taste just like it)! The above picture shows the box with the recipe card tucked in right behind the treats. I just cut it shorter than the back of the box and it fits perfectly!

I cannot get enough of this new Echo Park paper and the color combination of the red, brown and light blue. Once again, I used my Martha Stewart snowflake punch and layered up the different dsp and more of this brown snowflake ribbon. I love using colored pearls too!

And here is the recipe card. Want this super easy recipe...

Peppermint Bark

1 Cup Crushed Candy Canes
2 lbs. White Chocolate
Peppermint Flavoring (optional)

Melt white chocolate in double boiler.
Add peppermint flavoring if desired.
Stir in crushed candy cane pieces.
Spread on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and
refrigerate for 45 minutes until firm.
Break into pieces.

So yummy! I'll be making some for the Christmas Holiday and using this to make a great gift!
