Our Craft Lounge - A Color Challenge!

Hi there! I told you I would be back today with a card for my first challenge as a Guest Designer at the Our Craft Lounge blog! This week is a Color Challenge and it's some of my faves...turquoise, white and brown...I love this combo! Here's my card...

I've used the new set called Pins and Needles! I started my stamping this vintage sewing machine image in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored the base with Copics. I cut it out with a Spellbinders circle die and matted it with my dp cut with the scalloped circle dies. I inked the edges of my white doily and then stamped my sentiment below it. A girl's gotta have a little bling, so I used some Diamond Stickles on the heart in my sentiment as well as the swirls on the sewing machine and the thread sticking out from the spool!

Lots of fun stuff to add texture to this card...a ruffled brown satin ribbon topped with a white rose, the pincushion and spool images were cut out and added and three brown buttons tied with embroidery floss add to the sewing theme! I zigzag stitched the border and added some pearls to finish it off!

Stop by the Our Craft Lounge blog to see what the rest of the Design Team has to share with you and please join us for the challenge while you are there!
