Here Comes Santa Claus!
Hi there! It's time for another Meljen's digi release day at Whimsy Stamps! Wait until you see the fabulous set Melissa has designed! It's called Santa Claus is Coming to Town and it has twelve new images! There's Santa in his sleigh, all eight reindeer plus Rudolph, a bell with holly, and cookies for Santa! You can get them all at Whimsy Stamps!
I had to use Santa's Sleigh, of course, and I chose four of the reindeer for my project. This is going to be framed as a holiday decoration, so I just matted it to get it ready for the frame. Wanna know which reindeer I used? Well, there is Rudolph at the front in his rightful place and then there's Dancer, Vixen (my favorite) and Prancer! They are all colored with Copics and I added a little bling with some Stickles here and there. I decided not to embellish (yet!) since I am not sure how much room I will have in the frame. Go take a look at the whole collection of new releases...you won't be disappointed!

This is wonderful ... I {heart} how you framed the images for a holiday decor item! I have a similar shaped frame that I made several years ago -- inside are 4 seasonal trees images I stamped with Stampin' Up goodies. I think I can do something like this on the reverse side of the canvas and flip it for the holidays!! Great inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteOh Pattie this is wonderful and how cool that we both had the same idea of putting the sleigh with the reindeer, it looks so effective and will be perfect for a frame I absolutely love it.
