Dad...hero

this is my second post today...


Here is the card I created for The Shabby Tea Room Week #13 - Just for Dad. It is also being entered in Caardvarks June Challenge to use stamps and dry embossing. I think I'll give it to one of the kids to give to the hubby!

I used some papers I found in my scraproom that were just perfect for a masculine card. The brown cardstock is embossed with a new Cuttlebug embossing folder called Clockworks...I'll be using this one a lot! I sanded it to bring out the details and then stained it with Ranger Tea Dye Distress Ink. The TCP Studio image is stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with copics E11, E13, E57, YG63 and BG72. The sentiment is a Stampendous cling stamp also using Rich Cocoa. I inked all the edges with it too! A Basic Grey brad holds a bit of American Crafts ribbon to finish it off! I hope you like it...
