Just Because...I Love You

Hi there! I'm working today and it's been a little busy, but I just had to post this card to share with you. JustRite's Friday Challenge called for Dark Red, Black and Ivory and as you can see from an earlier post (vintage bike card), this is a color combination I can handle! And who doesn't love a sketch from Taylored Expressions!

I sure used a lot of ink on this card! The JustRite All Occasion Nested Sentiments and Verse border stamp is stamped in Memento tuxedo black, antiqued with Ranger Distress Inks in Antique Linen and Tea Dye and edged with the black. After I stamped the sentiment in Brick Red, I antiqued it as well and popped it up. I also used the same inks on the edges of this yummy cherry Graphic 45 dp in the background. I used my Fiskars eyelet scalloped edge punch for the border and I'm not sure where I got this awesome ivory and black ribbon, but I want more!

Challenges:
JustRite Friday Challenge 036 - Dark Red, Ivory and Black
Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #128 - great sketch!
Wild Orchid #6 - Ribbons and Bows

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! Stay tuned for my Celebration Blog Candy post!
