Shabby Tea Room Forget Me Nots!

Hi there - I don't know about you but it is way too hot outside for almost October! I mentioned I would be back this week to show you my DT submission for The Shabby Tea Room...and here it is. We were given this lovely little forget-me-not photo for inspiration. I remember having something in my room growing up with these little flowers on it! Ah, the memories!

I decided to cut out my own little blingy forget-me-nots and make a little tussy mussy on a card! I used a bouquet holder by Martha Stewart and cut just a bit of it off to hold my homemade bouquet. A little doilie and a little pink silk ribbon help fill the holder.
I used a bit more of the pink silk ribbon on the card pulled through a hole behind the flowers and oh how I love this lace! Some pretty blue gems give it a little sparkle! And you know I love me some pearls too...so pink, blue and white pearls make this sweet card even more special.

The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and is surrounded by a Melissa Frances frame. I love this color scheme...it's so very me!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! Don't forget about my Follow Me blog candy...you can find it HERE!
