Thank You Berry Much!

Hi there - just taking a minute to share another card with you this evening! I was pretty much by myself all weekend with hubby away golfing and the kids going in different directions, but I managed to handle it just fine (wink!). Now that dinner (broccoli and cheese stuffed meatloaf) is all cleaned up, I have some more me time while hubby is now perched in front of the TV watching football!

I just love participating in the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenges. They are so much fun and the design team is so inspirational. The weeks challenge was to use the spotlight technique and I knew exactly what stamp I wanted to use...Berry Sweet! I was a little intimidated by this stamp at first, so I thought this would be the perfect time to use it...when I don't have to color the entire image. I have seen the designers at Flourishes color this stamp so beautifully and I thought there was no way I could ever do it any justice...but I was wrong. After trying just a spotlight of it, I really wanted to keep coloring and finish it, but that would defeat the purpose of the challenge.

I paired it up with these pretty berry colored papers and used the Sketch For You To Try by Jen from this week. Oh, and I just love these Prima flowers and I couldn't do without my Bow Easy to make perfect bows every time!
