Paper Sundaes Change of Seasons

Happy Sunday to you! I hope your weekend is going great! It's Sunday and that means it's time for another Paper Sundaes Challenge! This week's challenge is called Change of Seasons and our sponsor is Paper Jewels!

I've been working on so many Halloween projects for my daughter's party that I decided to use my Rainy Day Emma stamp for my Change of Seasons card...and we all know that rainy days usually accompany a change of seasons!

I stamped her using Memento Rich Cocoa because all the lines in my umbrella dp from Jillibean Soup are brown and I knew I wanted her to have deep brown hair. I colored her with copics and used Glossy Accents on her raincoat and boots. In this 'scene', the rain has just stopped and a few droplets of water (Rain Dots) are falling off her umbrella and slicker!

I used the My Favorite Things grass Die-namics and inked the edges with Memento bamboo leaves to give her an outdoorsy feel! The flowers are cut using Spellbinders Shapeabilities Daisy Heads dies and popped up on each other for some dimension. I just love my gingham ribbons and since all the umbrellas on the dp are gingham, I just had to use this sweet pink gingham on my card. The Say It In Pearls swirl just makes it even more girly! I couldn't resist this sentiment from Papertrey Ink either - what's better than a rainy day to get you some time in your craft room, right!?!

Head on over to the Paper Sundaes Challenge blog and see what the Design Team has to share with you...you'll love it!
