Hot Cocoa Just for YOU...

It's always exciting when The Cutting Cafe' releases a fun, new cutting file to play with...in this case, it's called the Hot Chocolate Holder! This little treat holder is perfect for a pair of hot chocolate packets to give to a friend...and if you're lucky, they might let you share it with them too!

I used some new double sided Fancy Pants papers and my so very new Verve Winter Mittens stamp for this one! It literally came in the mail today and I just got it about 5 hours ago...that's one hot little stamp! (pun intended!) I paper-pieced the mittens with the same dp! The tag and inside greeting are both from the cutting files you get with this great hot chocolate holder!

I got a new snowflake stamp (by McGill) and also used my trusty Martha Stewart punch too. A jewel brad holds my tag on the front and the snowflake and inside sentiment are adorned with some sparkly red bling! That little heart stamp is from the same Verve set! I glued my ribbon all the way around except for the end tabs and tied it in a bow to hold it all together. I love to see people's faces when they are opening a little treat like this...especially when they are pulling on the bow (the anticipation look)!

Here is the inside before the hot cocoa...

And here it is with the packets of hot cocoa in it...

Head on over to The Cutting Cafe' for your very own Hot Chocolate Holder template! You will love it! You could also use this for my favorite hot beverage...TEA! or milled cider...or spices...the possibilities are endless!

  13. Oh wow!! This is awesome. I'm not sure what a "cutting file" is, but I'm assuming it's something I don't own, but will soon need to find! I love the colors and everything you used on the papers. This is really neat.
