Peace and Joy

I wanted to get this posted on my blog before I left for dd's choral concert, but that didn't happen, so here it is. This very white card was made for the Flourishes Winter White challenge celebrating their new release! It's layers of white irridescent paper, pearly white embossed paper and more embossed irridescent paper dotted with Diamond Stickles. I even chalked the edges with white, but it doesn't show up in the picture. I think this embossing folder looks like snowflakes, even though it isn't, but it's the closest I have to snowflakes. Now I know what to ask Santa to bring me...;)!

My cardinal image from Flourishes Christmas Classics set is stamped on vellum and colored with Copics. There is satin and sheer ribbon underneath it topped with a bow and a few white pearls. The Melissa Frances frame gives it the perfect touch! The sentiment is from the same Flourishes set.

Challenges:
Flourishes Winter White Challenge - FLLCDEC10
Joan's Gardens #26 - A Recipe of Elements

Thanks for stopping by!
