First, I apologize for my post being late today. We had a little emergency at our house...my son took a pretty hard hit on the lacrosse field last night, so I have been taking care of him. We ended up at the hospital for x-rays. He's going to be okay...maybe broken ribs...we'll find out this morning.
I can't believe it's my final week as a Guest Designer over at the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge. This is one of my favorite challenges and I love all the inspiration as well as the fabulous quality stamps by Flourishes! It was truly a dream to share this month with their very talented team! Thanks so much to everyone at Flourishes for the opportunity! This week brings us Silke Ledlow's sketch (shown on the left). It's a fun one with tons of possibilities!
I started with my base cut with the Spellbinders Lacey Circles die. I left the top open for my fold and cut my dp with a whole piece to cover the front. I colored my image from Flourishes Mix-N-Mugs stamp set with Copics then I added my strip of cardstock, a simple seam binding ribbon and bow and some pearls. My sentiment is from the same set and cut with the smallest die in the lacey circles set.
Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to visit the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge post to see all the details for the challenge and don't forget to visit the Design Team blog posts and leave a comment as required to be eligible for the challenge prize.
I hope you'll join us too!
