Plant a Seed of Friendship...

Hi there! It's week three of my Guest DT spot at the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge! This week, we're having my favorite kind of challenge...a COLOR Challenge! The colors you need to use on your project are Blue, Yellow and Brown!

For my card, I started with strips of coordinating patterned papers attached to the base of my card. Then, I pulled out two great Flourishes sets...Seeds of Friendship and I Love Roses! I know I just had yellow roses on my card last week, but I couldn't resist and it had to fit the challenge colors...so here's another yellow rose! I also added a sweet sentiment from the Butterflies and Blossoms set. I love to mix and match my sets.

There's some fun stuff going on here...zigzag stitching all around. distressing around my seed packet, a pretty seam binding bow, some pearls and a cute little birdie!

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to visit the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge post to see all the details for the challenge and don't forget to visit the Design Team blog posts and leave a comment as required to be eligible for the challenge prize.

I hope you'll join us too!

  2. I love your card, Patti! I love that you used the "Seeds of Friendship" stamp, that one is one of the few I use least, but you have re-inspired me to pull it out and use it! :) The paper is perfect for this challenge and I think your doing a perfect job on your GDT month!! Keep up the wonderful cards :)

  15. Hi Pattie :)
I had to leave some love here..your card is amazing. Once I enlarged the picture I was even more in awe at all the tiny details I hadn't caught before. The fact that you distressed, layered, used 3D on the leaves, sewed, that tiny little dotted bird, it's all an amazing amount of love and devotion to your craft. Mind me asking how long this card took you to make? I absolutely adore this!!
    Have a wonderful weekend.
