Miss You a Latte!

Hi there! I hope you are having a wonderful start to your weekend! I'll be taking a class today at my local stamp store...and a little shopping might happen while I'm there too!

I'm sharing another new release from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps with you today! This adorable image is part of the Cocoa's Latte clear stamp set. You get the image and five sentiments with the clear stamp set or you can get the image as a digi...it's up to you! I love coloring Cocoa and I've used the theme from the Crazy 4 Cocoa Challenge called New Year's resolution...mine is to keep in touch better with my friends. What better way than to send them an adorable card! I've also used the sketch from today's Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge which was a perfect fit for my image. It's and all out Sweet 'n Sassy card, huh!

Cocoa and his latte are colored with Copics and layered atop these sweet papers from the Penny Lane collection by My Mind's Eye. I used a bit of KI Memories ribbon, some pearls, a Prima flower and a button tied with some vintage seam binding!

I hope you'll join us for one of the fun challenges and be sure to stop by the Sweet 'n Sassy Store to see all the new releases...you'll love them!

Challenges:
Crazy 4 Cocoa Challenge #6 - New Year's Resolutions

Joan's Gardens 25th Challenge Celebration Blog Hop

Joan's Gardens is having a Blog Hop to celebrate their 25th Challenge and this one is very special! She has asked ten Guest Designers to join her for this blog hop featuring Heartfelt Creations stamps! I was so happy to be asked to join in the fun! You should have been sent here by Darlene's blog...if so, you are on the right track!

Heartfelt Creations is the very generous sponsor and wait until you see the Grand Prize...here it is...Are you ready to hear the details?

There are 14 stamp sets and 3 Heartfelt Creations matching Dies with a value of over $286. In addition to this fabulous grand prize, there will also be additional prize packages from Joan's Gardens to give you three additional chances to win.

In order to be eligible for one of these three prize packages, you need to leave a comment on each blog in this Hop. Out of the twelve blogs, there are three "mystery" blogs, each with a prize package from Joan's Gardens. For a chance to win, be sure to leave a comment on all twelve blogs. Check out the other prize package details at Joan's Gardens Challenge Blog!
Here is my Heartfelt Creations card for the Blog Hop...

Heartfelt Creations also generously donated a special set to the hoppers to create something to share with you today since you can only use Heartfelt Creations stamps for the challenge this week. I started with these great sparkly My Minds Eye papers and added my background script using the Large Elegant Word Background stamped in ColorBox Dark Brown chalk ink. Then I layered up some cardstock and ribbon and topped it with a scalloped circle and more dp stamped with the Agape Love set circle sentiment. The center of the circle is a multi-layer flower created using the Posy Patch stamp set and the Posy Patch matching die set. A couple of leaves, a few pearls and a matching sparkly bow are all it needed!

Be sure to take a look at Joan's Gardens Challenge Blog for all the details, including the requirements of the challenge and the other great prizes! Your next stop on the hop is Theresa's blog...go check it out!

Here is the list of hoppers...just in case you get lost!

hello cupcake!

Good Morning! I have a new card to share with you. It's for the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge #58, the Color Throwdown #95 challenge, the Stamp Simply #142...Sweet Stuff! and the Little Red Wagon #31 altered embellishment challenge too! Once again, as soon as I saw the colors in the challenge, I knew the perfect papers to use for it...Bo Bunny Alissa!

These are my favorite colors and I was so excited to work with them. I think I have a little more confidence when I am working with color I really like. So, I started with Bo Bunny Double Dot papers in black, pink and green. I embossed the pink paper with Sizzix texture impressions embossing folder from the birthday set. I layered them all with black mats and inked all the edges with ColorBox blue lagoon chalk ink. Then on to the cupcake embellishment. I stamped my cupcake image twice with Memento tuxedo black ink on black double dot paper and white cardstock and cut them out separately. Then I used Stampendous glitter embossing powder and another layer of glitter to get the glittery frosting effect. The sprinkles are Queen & Co. bling. My sentiment is a Hampton Art stamped in Memento as well. The diecut flower and tag are also from the Bo Bunny Alissa collection. Prima flowers finished it off! (the colors are a bit brighter in real life, and I decided to lean the card to try to get the bling to show better, but I am struggling with my camera these days...please bear with me!)

I hope you like it, and if you do, please leave a comment!

Thanks for stopping by today!
