A Gift for You

Hi there! It's time to show you another C.C. Designs October Release from All That Scraps! I'm having so much fun working with these adorable images!

Here's the new C.C. Designs Swiss Pixie Baby Jesus & Angel! I colored it with Copics and added some Diamond Stickles to her sweet wings and halo! She's layered up with a lace border die threaded with some ribbon and a big bow. I added some leaves cut with the new C.C. Designs Cutter Leaves die and a few sprigs of pearls. My sentiment is from the new AmyR Stamps Handy Christmas Greetings set! I added a little cluster of pearls to that too!

Stop by the All That Scraps Blog to see more inspiration using the new October Releases!

Sweet 'n Sassy Customer Blog Hop - Think Spring!

Hi there! Just couldn't miss this month's Sweet 'n Sassy Customer Blog Hop! This month's theme is Think Spring! I just love Korin's sweet images...I had the opportunity to sit with her last week at our stampy get together and she let us share her stamps!

I just loved Bethany Bunny from the moment I saw her. She's definitely a cutie! This image is called Bethany Picking Flowers! She's colored with Copics of course! I pierced the edges of the image and layered it up with some of these pretty Springy Imaginisce papers. My sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. I added lots of pearls to this one too...pink and blue! A little bow tops it off!

Be sure to check out the Sweet 'n Sassy Customer Blog Hop and join in the fun...you have until Sunday at 9 pm EST! You can find all the details HERE!

Just Because...

Hi there! Today is my last post as a Guest Designer for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! I just love the ladies there and Korin is so sweet and so very talented! Thanks to everyone at Sweet 'n Sassy for asking me to join them...I had so much fun!

Today, I am sharing a card that's "Just Because"! And 'just because' I think he's so cute, I got this little Benjamin Bunny digi stamp this week! He's colored with Copics (of course) and surrounded by some pretty pink pearls! I kept the layout pretty simple for this one...a sweet gingham bow and a strip of cardstock that coordinates with my background paper! The sentiment is from Verve.

Be sure to stop by the Sweet 'n Sassy store to see all the new release coming out soon!

Coffee and friends...and a Winner!

Hi there! I'd like to thank everyone who participated in last week's Paper Sundaes Birthday Celebration Blog Hop! I need to announce the winner of my blog candy too! Before I do that, let me tell you about today's new Paper Sundaes Challenge! Our theme this week is De-stressing so we are asking you to distress your card...that could mean distressing anything on your project...using ink, scissors...whatever you like! Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp!

I have had this CC Designs image called Cocoa Emma for some time now and never inked it up...until now! You can find her at Simon Says Stamp...HERE! I colored her with Copics and stamped a little scalloped edge for her to sit upon! All of my edges are distressed using a distressing tool and then they were distressed with ink. My sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I used a bit of rose trim, twisted it and curled it into this fabulous little flower topped with a Prima bling center! It is mounted on a die cut I received as a gift a long time ago. A bit of ribbon and a few pearls here and there are all this little girl needed!

Now for the winner of my Paper Sundaes Blog Hop blog candy...I had over 100 comments on my post at the time of the draw! I used a random number generator to get the winner...and that person is...auntbeespickles (Sarah Taylor)... please email me (in my sidebar) with your snail mail address so I can send you your new MFT stamp set!

Be sure to stop by the Paper Sundaes Challenge to see what the rest of the design team has created to show you...and to see the winners of the Blog Hop prizes! Have a great Sunday!

Friends are the marshmallows...

...in the cocoa of life! I love that little sentiment! And I love Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Cocoa Mouse too! Isn't he so sweet peeking out of this adorable snowflake mug?!

This great image and sentiment are from the Sweet 'n Sassy Cup of Cocoa clear stamp set. I colored Cocoa a little darker this time, and masked the candy cane coming out of the mug so it didn't stamp. I also added another marshmallow in it's place. I used Copic markers and highlighted the snowflakes on the mug with some Diamond Stickles! He's cut out using a Spellbinders die and it's hard to see in the photo, but there is a layer of purple cut with a Martha Stewart snowflake edge punch. As always, a little ribbon and pearls...

I followed the Sweet Stop Sketch #92 for this week! Check it out...here! Have a great weekend and thanks for taking a peek!

The Best is Yet to Be...

Hi there! Hope you are having a great start to your weekend! I'm working today, but I wanted to share another Sweet 'n Sassy card with you! I'm having a great time being a Guest Designer and showing off their great stamps!

I love this open butterfly from the Everyday Miracles stamp set and I paired it up with these great colors from the Color Throwdown this week. I colored it with Copics and cut it out using the Spellbinders circle dies. I followed the Sweet Sunday sketch, but realized I probably should have stamped my butterfly a little higher in my circle. Oh well, I kept this one pretty simple...not too much embellishing since the beauty is really in the image! My sentiment is from the Love Sentiments set.

I hope you have a great day and stop by the Sweet 'n Sassy store to see what's new!

Miss You a Latte!

Hi there! I hope you are having a wonderful start to your weekend! I'll be taking a class today at my local stamp store...and a little shopping might happen while I'm there too!

I'm sharing another new release from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps with you today! This adorable image is part of the Cocoa's Latte clear stamp set. You get the image and five sentiments with the clear stamp set or you can get the image as a digi...it's up to you! I love coloring Cocoa and I've used the theme from the Crazy 4 Cocoa Challenge called New Year's resolution...mine is to keep in touch better with my friends. What better way than to send them an adorable card! I've also used the sketch from today's Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge which was a perfect fit for my image. It's and all out Sweet 'n Sassy card, huh!

Cocoa and his latte are colored with Copics and layered atop these sweet papers from the Penny Lane collection by My Mind's Eye. I used a bit of KI Memories ribbon, some pearls, a Prima flower and a button tied with some vintage seam binding!

I hope you'll join us for one of the fun challenges and be sure to stop by the Sweet 'n Sassy Store to see all the new releases...you'll love them!

I Love You SNOW Much!

Hi there! It's a new year and a new day and this is my first post as a new Guest Designer over at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! I am so excited to join this awesome group of ladies for the month of January!

Today, I am sharing a card I made for my hubby using the new Snow Special stamp set. I was going for a more masculine feel for this one, so I chose this great snowflake paper by Jillibean Soup and paired it up with red and brown. Kraft is so popular right now and these colors are perfect for this snowman and my hubby.

My snowman is colored with Copics, cut out and popped up using pop dots. I cut my 'snowflake' using the Spellbinders Lotus pendant and the heart is a die by My Favorite Things. A couple of pearls and a bit of Distress Stickles added to the snowman's coat trim and the centers of the snowflakes on the background paper and it's done! The sentiment is one of the four you get with this adorable set!

Check out the Sweet 'n Sassy store for all of the new sets in the new release...and have a Happy New Year!

Cocoa's Gift Card Holder

Hi! Just popping in to show you a little "just for fun" project tonight! I love Cocoa mouse from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps...isn't he cute?! This week's Crazy 4 Cocoa Challenge is to make anything but a card...so here's a little gift card holder and I altered and a matching tag!

This image is called Cocoa's Ornament and he is colored with Copics and cut out with a Spellbinders Labels Eight die. I inked the edges, added some ribbon and now I have the perfect tag to match my box. That's all for now!

Thanks for stopping by!

Enjoy Today!

If you are looking for my Shabby Tea Room post...go HERE!

Hi there! Just getting a chance to post a few things I have been holding on to...don't want to miss the deadlines! And I have a big post for tomorrow's Tiffany Doodles Hop, so check back tomorrow for that!

There's a new challenge blog in town and it's hosted by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. What's even better than that is...it's all about Cocoa! Cocoa the Mouse that is! It's called the Crazy 4 Cocoa Challenge and there is a new challenge every Tuesday. This week's challenge is to make a card using Cocoa for someone you love...I made this one for my grandfather who just turned 91 last month!

I met up with Korin, the owner of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, along with a few other blogland friends for some stamping fun a few weeks ago and we had a great time! I also got to use some of Korin's stamps to stock up on some images for my stash! This is one of them...it's called Cocoa's Mittens! Isn't it sooo cute!?! I had this great Jillibean Soup paper too, so I knew I had to use this image with it!

He's colored with Copics and I followed the Sweet Sunday Sketch this week too! I added a strip of cardstock cut with the Martha Stewart snowflake edge punch, snowflakes using the ODBD dies, a Heidi Swapp clear snowflake that I have had forever and a mitten cut with the Spellbinders dies that LeAnne had with her that day! A little of Deb's shabby seam binding to tie it on and a few pearls bling it up just enough! My sentiment is from Verve's Balck Tie Birdies set!

Happy Harvest...

Hi there and TGIF! It's Friday and that means a new Stamp Something Challenge! This week we have a super sketch for you to use and our sponsor is DRS Designs.

I really like this sketch...it has a lot of potential and you can embellish it any way you want. The image I used is the Cornucopia from Sweet & Sassy Stamps which is available in both digi and clear stamps. I colored it with Copics and cut it out with a Spellbinders circle die. I made my own designer paper by stamping this text stamp on Bazzill french vanilla paper using Memento Rich Cocoa ink. (I'm not sure what language it is though.) It looks great with these rich, burgandy swirl and gingham papers from The Paper Studio and this cute polka dotted shimmery paper. I used my Eggshell Copic to color the background of my image paper since it was stamped on bright white and that would just not do for this card.

The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and is stamped with ColorBox Dark Brown ink. The dark red Queen & Co. pearls give it a little shimmer and the inked edges add that bit of rustic to this project. I added a copper, sheer organdy bow and topped it off with an antique bronze brad.

Be sure to visit the rest of the Design Team at the Stamp Something challenge! Now go get your sketch on and join us this week at Stamp Something!
