I just love the little birdie sitting on those poppies! I've colored the image with Copics and cut it out with my Spellbinders dies. This sweet sentiment is new too...it's by Raindrop Echo Designs and it's one of six sentiment from the In My Garden collection.

I used my favorite papers from My Mind's Eye Lime Twist and added a seam binding double bow with a brad, some leaf trinket pins, a few swirls, a double punched butterfly with some pearls and a cute little watering can brad!

New Whimsy Inspirations Challenge Blog - You Are My Sunshine

Hi there! Today is the day! It's our first challenge at the Whimsy Inspirations Challenge Blog! Yay! We have a super fun theme for you...it's one of my favorites too...Ribbons and Bows! Here's my sweet card for this week's challenge...

I am showcasing this new digi image called Forget Me Not by Crissy Armstrong...isn't she the sweetest?! She's colored with Copics and her skirt and headband are paper-pieced. I cut her out with the Spellbinders Labels Eight dies. I added a little extra grass all around her with my Copics and stamped a sky background and highlighted it with some soft Copic colors! My sentiment is from the Emma Swinging Sentiments by Raindrop Echo Designs which you can find at Whimsy Stamps! It sorta reminds me of a sun peeking out from the clouds...and what a beautiful day this scene depicts so the sun must be out!

I added some fun embellishments including a felt cloud, my ribbon and big ole' bow, some Spellbinders flourish die cuts and a crystal button with a second bow tied from some pink and white baker's twine! A few pearls on my sunshine sentiment and a pearl in each corner are the finishing touches!

I hope you'll join us for this first challenge and every week! Stop by the Whimsy Inspirations Challenge blog and see what the rest of the Design Team has to inspire you with today!

Hi there and welcome to Day 2 of the Sneak Peeks for the May Rubber Release at Whimsy Stamps! Today, we are showcasing the new stamps by Crissy Armstrong and I chose to use this adorable fairy called Wee Snippet...isn't she sweet?!

She's colored with Copics and cut out with a Spellbinders square die then matted with a sparkly yellow cut with Spellbinders lacey squares dies. The flower and leaves are also cut with a Spellbinders die set then topped with a blingy flower center. I added a bow, some pearls and a sweet butterfly from a MS punch. Oh, and her dress is paper-pieced with the same K & Co. dp as the background and butterfly! My sentiment is a mini postage stamp from the Everyday Mini Postage Stamp set by Raindrop Echo Designs at Whimsy Stamps!

Help for Japan Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to a very special blog hop today! The illustrators of Whimsy Stamps have come together to draw a special set of digi images for the purpose of raising money for the relief effort in Japan. All proceeds from the sale of these images will be donated to that cause. Kenny K, Raindrop Echo Designs, Meljens Designs, and Crissy Armstrong all contributed art work. For the whole month of April, you can purchase the images as a set or individually (your choice) by visiting this page on the Whimsy store site. Please consider helping this special cause by purchasing one or all of the digital images we are offering.

If you have landed here from Sylvia's blog, you are right on track. If you have come here randomly and would like to start hopping from the beginning, please go to Crissy's blog. She has the blog rotation order posted if you need to refer to it.

The amazing ladies of two design teams have come together to host this blog hop for you! Crissy's Crew from Sundays With Crissy and Denise's DT from Whimsy Stamps have joined forces to design some amazing jaw dropping creations for you. You have seven days to hop through all the blogs and enjoy all the lovely creations from these talented people.

The hop runs from now through til Sunday April 10 at noon. There will be several opportunities to win blog candy! Four random commenters will get a chance to receive one of the three individual images or Ann's sentiment set. So be sure to leave comments all along the way for your chance at a free digi! Also, if you post the "Help for Japan" button on your blog's sidebar, you can enter into the draw for the grand prize! The grand prize will consist of the entire digital set made just for this cause as well as a gift certificate donated by Ann of Raindrop Echo Designs worth $10 to use at the Whimsy Stamps store! To enter, you must help us advertise for this cause by posting the "Help Japan" button on your blog's side bar (just grab it from my side bar or from the top of this post) and then get your name on the Inlinkz option on Crissy's post so we can be sure to find the winner.

Now on to my project:

I have used the Heartfelt Angel in my project today. She is colored with Copics and cut out with a Spellbinders die...then layered up with some pretty Imaginisce papers and flowers cut with PTI flower dies from the same papers and some Sizzix swirls and leaves. I added a big pearl and a sweet shabby pink ribbon and bow! My sentiment is from Taylored Expressions.

Next, you'll want to visit Donna's blog to continue hopping. Thank you so much for stopping by, and for your support of this very worthy cause.

Whimsy Stamps - March Release Sneak Peek - Day 1

Hi there! You are gonna love what you see today from the Whimsy Stamps team! It's Day 1 of the March Release Sneak Peeks and today we are showcasing new stamps by Crissy Armstrong! We're getting ready for the big release on March 16th, so keep an eye out every day at the Whimsy Inspirations Blog to see what's in store for you!

Valerie is the beautiful young girl she illustrates and here she is sitting here all dressed up with her little kitty! This image is called Valerie and Kitty Sitting Pretty...isn't that just the perfect name!

I paper-pieced her dress and bow with this oh-so-cute Memory Box paper and cut her out so I could pop her up on top of her bench which is also paper-pieced with a woodgrain paper . This bench stamp is also available at Whimsy Stamps! The rest of Valerie and her kitty are colored with Copics.

My sentiment is also being released next week...it's from Raindrop Echo Designs and the set is called Spring Letter Seals! It's cut out using Spellbinders circle and scalloped circle dies. I added some pearls, a couple of trinket pins, a sweet shabby bow and a mini rose.

Be sure to stop by the Whimsy Inspirations Blog to see which of the other designers are showcasing Crissy and Ann's stamps today!

Whimsy Sneak Peeks - Day 1 - Crissy Armstrong!

Hi there! It's Day 1 of the Whimsy Stamps Sneak Peeks for the new rubber stamp release on February 9th! Although I am on the digi team, I was given the opportunity to join in on all the fun for the rubber stamp sneak peeks and release party! Day 1 brings us new releases by Crissy Armstrong! Her adorable stamps are so sweet and cute and I love to color them! So, here's my card using her new image called Valerie's Spring Rain...

I colored her and her little kitty with Copics and added a little wrought iron looking stamp with some highlights for them to sit upon. I love these bright colored MME papers and I couldn't wait to use them and color my image to match. The sentiment is from the Whimsy Stamps Friendship Ticket Sentiments set by Raindrop Echo Designs.

I added a few of my favorite embellies here including some polka dotted ribbon, some pretty blue gems, a few Spellbinders flourishes and a little blue cloud cut from a PTI die.

Be sure to stop by the Whimsy Inspiration Blog each day to see which designers are sharing sneak peeks! I'll have another sneak peek on Feb. 8th for the Pre-release Party!

Whimsy Stamps Digi Release Blog Hop!

Hi there! Hopefully, you made it here by way of Sylvia's blog! That means you are on the right track for the Whimsy Stamps Digital Release Blog Hop!

Whimsy Stamps is releasing new Digital Designs today from Raindrop Echo Designs, Crissy's Digis along with many new images to the Meljen's Designs collection.
All of the new images are available now!

Your first stop on this hop is the Whimsy Inspiration Blog. You can always check back there for the complete list. And...you'll want to leave some love along the way too as there will be two winners...these will be chosen from two mystery blogs. The blog hop runs from today until Tuesday, February 8th at 12:oo pm EST.

The Grand Prize Winner of the hop will be chosen from comments left on the final stop at Melissa's blog...they will receive 5 new digital stamps of their choice from Whimsy and will also get a chance to use those new digital images as a guest designer for Whimsy for the entire month of February! So, what are you waiting for? Get Hopping!

For my card, I am using the new set by Crissy Armstrong called the Young Love Set! It has three separate images...Can I Kiss You (boy), Sweet Sarah and Love Seat (heart-shaped bench)! They are colored with Copics and I colored the bench to look like an old, antique carved piece of art. Then I cut out these cutie pies so I could position them on my bench. Since they are digis, you could do that on the computer, but I popped mine up on pop dots to give them a little dimension! Aren't they so cute?!

I added part of a paper doily in the bottom right corner, some red grosgrain ribbon and a bow and my sentiment from the Whimsy Stamps Love Letter Seals set. Above the bow is a spray of Petaloo leaves topped with a pretty pink rose and a couple of Recollections mini roses.
The flourishes are part of a Sizzix die.

Visit the Whimsy Stamps Store to see all the new digital stamps available today!
And don't forget to stop back starting on February 4th to see the sneak peeks of the new rubber stamps and dies being released on February 9th!

It's a Whimsy New Release Blog Hop!

Hi there! Hopefully, you made it here by way of Sandra's blog!

And...you'll want to leave some love along the way too as there will be six winners...these will be chosen from six mystery blogs...this is your chance to win one digital image of your choice from as many as six blogs. The blog hop runs from today until Thursday, January 13th at 12:oo pm EST.

The Grand Prize winner of the hop chosen from comments left on Denise's blog will receive 5 new digital stamps of their choice from Whimsy! So, what are you waiting for? Get Hopping!

For my card, I chose the new Dance of Love image by Crissy Armstrong. I have been a collector of carousel horses since I was young and I just love her line of carousel horse images! I printed it out small enough to fit inside of the new Crowned Oval Hearts image by Raindrop Echo Designs. I colored the edge and inside detail of the background oval as well as the carousel horse image with Copics, then cut out the horse and popped it up on top! I added a pearl to the top of the pole and a few flowers to the top. The mini roses are colored with a Copic marker to match.

The sentiment is a rubber stamp from Raindrop Echo Designs...it's from the Love Letter Seals set! I know you are probably thinking that the carousel horse is off center, but I wanted the pole to be the center and since the horses head is looking up, it appears that way. It's just the way horses are made...bottom heavy!

Visit the Whimsy Stamps Store to see all the new digital stamps available today!

Your next stop on the hop is Tina's blog and I'm sure she will have something fun for you to see!
