It's Your Day! at Paper Sundaes!
Good Morning - It's 'Sundae' again! Are you ready for another Paper Sundaes Challenge! Head on over to the Paper Sundaes Challenge blog for the newest challenge sponsored by Meljen's! It's definitely a fun one and you can get your Meljen's digital images at Whimsy Stamps!
Today, I used the image called "A Girl and Her Overalls" which you can find here! I colored her with my copics and cut her out with my Spellbinders Labels 10 and inked the edges with Studio g purple ink. The challenge calls for two designer papers, so I found two papers in my stash that just so happen to coordinate with the colors I chose for her. Then, I gathered up my four flowers and three buttons to complete the challenge requirements and started laying it all out.
I didn't follow a sketch for this card...just created it! I love the bright colored flowers and the way they pick up the colors from the background papers! Of course, a little bling always adds sparkle and the bow adds the finishing touch! The sentiment is from Our Craft Lounge Big Birthday Wishes set and is stamped in Memento Rose Bud that matches the ribbon!

ReplyDeleteAdorable Pattie, you used such fun and bright paper, it just makes the whole card so FUN!!! The flower in the DP almost looks like the sun shinning behind her. Fabulous coloring and I'm so glad you listed your Copic colors. I was wondering what colors you used for her hair.
