Hi there! Remember when I told you I had a very busy April...well, this is another reason why! I was asked by Tammy and the lovely ladies at Flourishes to join them for the Timeless Tuesday Challenges for the month of April and I would never ever say no to Flourishes! It's a dream of mine to be on a team like that!
Tammy is the hostess this week and she has chosen this fabulous circle quilt photo for us to use as our inspiration this week. You can find all the details for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge #112 at the Flourishes Blog! As soon as I saw the photo, I knew I had the perfect paper for it! Here's my card...
I decided to make a pretty large card in order to use the colors of these six circles and have them all show. I'm also a fan of carousel horses (I used to collect them way back when), so I got out one of my favorite Flourishes stamps called Enjoy the Ride! I used the colors of my dp to color this dreamy little horse with Copics and added some of my favorite touches...a big, beautiful red magnolia flower and some leaves, some swirls cut from a Sizzix die and pearls at the corners. I added the finishing touch with a red pearl at the top of the pole! My sentiment is from the same Flourishes set.
