You Are Always on My Mind

Hi there! I promise, I really haven't dropped off the face of the earth! It's been a busy year for me so far and with an upcoming high school graduation, college visits almost 7 hours away, my company being purchased after 73 years in business...there's a lot going on!

I did sneak in some time in my oh-so-messy craft room to create something for the Power Poppy Power & Spark Challenge. This month's theme is a Pop of Pastel! Here's the Azalea stamp set all decked out in pastels...

I went pretty traditional on this one. I wanted to take a simple layout and build layers on it, adding just a few touches here and there!  My sentiment is popped up for dimension and you know I love me a sparkly sheer ribbon and some gems!. There's even more sparkle if you look at the detail pic...I added some Stickles to the ends of the flower stamens and some Glossy Accents to the vase!

Yep, I went old school on this one! This is my comfort zone and I needed some of this therapy lately! It was nice to sit and focus on something other than the zillion life decisions we have been making lately!

I'm planning on spending some more time in the craft room (to make it a little neater), but that will have to wait until after this weekend's college orientation.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

  1. I love this vase of azalea blooms and you've done it up so pretty in pastels! Guess I'm old school, too, because I think this card is fabulous. So good to see it in our Pop of Pastel Challenge at Power Poppy!

  2. Patti, this is so lovely! Pastel and perfection, pretty much sums it up for me!

  3. Patti, this is so delicate and beautiful, and your coloring is so lovely! I love your layout with the wonderful embossed background and great die shape! The ribbon finishes it off perfectly! Stunning card! Hugs!

  4. Just gorgeous your card, the pretty colours and simple layered design
