Did I mention blog candy? I sure did! I'm celebrating too because I hit 200 followers yesterday! I will choose one lucky, random commenter from this blog post to win this little prize...Making Memories ribbon and birthday charms!

Paper Sundaes Birthday Blog Hop and Blog Candy!

Happy Sunday and welcome to the Paper Sundaes 1st Birthday Celebration Blog Hop!

If you have arrived here from Tracy's blog, then you are on the right track! If not, you can start at Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog and hop along so that you don't miss out on any of the gorgeous creations from the Sundae Girls (and for your chance to win some yummy candy)!

Remember to collect a WORD at each stop and comment at each stop so you are entered for some amazing prizes! Your last stop will be back at the beginning where you can leave all the WORDS you collected along the way for your chance to win even more!

Our challenge this week is extra special - we would like you to show us your favorite challenge from the past year! And to celebrate, we have FIVE different prizes for FIVE randomly drawn winners!

My card is using the theme from PSC18 which is the week we made Easel Fold Cards. I am also using an image from one of our fabulous sponsors...Lili of the Valley...she's called New Hat! I've colored it with Copics and matted it several times on coordinating cardstock. I stamped this on bright white paper and then decided that I really wanted my background to match, so I decided to color the entire background of the image with my Egg Shell Copic marker!

The papers are from October Afternoon's Thrift Shop collection. I cut out some leaves with a Sizzix die and added them to this sticker element from the Thrift Shop collection. I added a few pearls and a sheer ribbon and the front of the card is done!

For the inside (or bottom of the easel card), I layered some patterned paper and cardstock and cut a decorative edge with a Martha Stewart scalloped eyelet edge punch. I added pearls in between the scallops to 'hold' my card open. You can use so many things to accomplish this, but the little pearls hold it back evenly! The label is also from the same paper collection and is stamped with a Lili of the Valley sentiment. Just a couple more pearls finish it off perfectly!

I'd like to celebrate by offering a little blog candy too! One lucky, random commenter from this blog post will win this fabulous My Favorite Things a la mode stamp set! I will pick the winner on Saturday, January 23rd!

The word you need to collect here is "TO." Your next stop on our blog hop is Lisa's blog and I'm sure she will have something very special for you to see!

Follow Me for Some Blog Candy!

Hi there!

When I started my blog only 4 months ago, I just wanted to join a few challenges. Then I thought it would be so cool to win one! I have won a few. Then I got so into it that I applied to a DT call, but I didn't make it on that one. Then another DT call...and I was so surprised to be chosen. Well, now I am on 3 DT's and I have a few things in the works as we speak! Now I have over 4000 hits and over 40 followers...WOW...all I can say is thanks and I'm glad you like what you see!

I am so fortunate to have met so many wonderful people already and make new friends all while sharing my creations. So, in celebration of all my blogland successes, I am offering this blog candy. All you have to do is Follow Me. That's it! If you want to post a link on your sidebar with my candy on it, that's ok too but it is not necessary. I appreciate all the wonderful comments I get and I just want to give something back. So, on my birthday...October 17th, I will let the random number generator choose the winner of the blog candy from my list of followers! I even moved my follower box up to the top of my sidebar for the duration of the blog candy! If you are already a follower, thank you very much!

( Sometimes I get duplicates of products and just recently I ordered a stamp set and the freebie they gave me was a set I had in that same order...there's a little bit of everything in there!)

And, one lucky person will win a bonus candy! Want to know how? In a previous post, I mentioned something that no one in blogland had known about me until that day. The first person to answer the question correctly will win this...

and I'll give you a hint...it has something to do with my birthday! If you know the answer, leave me a comment on this post and the first person to answer correctly wins...don't forget to leave me a way to contact you. If you leave an email...please use the word "at" and the word "dot". I love Prima and Tim Holtz products, so you will get to love some too!
Edit: Christine won the bonus candy by correctly answering that I have a twin brother! Congrats Christine!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
