We are never alone...

Good morning - it's so beautiful here in Southern PA today and I am off for 3 days...the kids are at school and the hubby is on a golf trip so you know what that means?!!!!! Lots of ME time this weekend!

Remember I told you I went to a stamp show last weekend...well, here is one of the stamp sets I purchased from a CTMH booth. I was so drawn to these pretty flowers and this beautiful sentiment that I just had to have it.

This card has a lot of things going on too...I heat embossed the background with PTI Flourishes stamps, embossed the circle mat as well as all the pieces of patterned paper. Then I inked up the dp's to bring out the pattern of the embossing. I just love this ruffly ribbon from Spare Parts too!
If you look closely you can see some blinginess from Stickles as I made my own glitter paper!

I really hope you like it!

Challenges:
Taylored Expressions #127 - sketch
Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger - photo inspiration
The Color Throwdown #110 - pink, gray, razzleberry
Cupcake Inspirations #76 - photo inspiration
Cute Card Thursday #130 - Tweet and Flutter - bird or butterfly
4 Crafty Chicks Challenge #3 - Embossing heat/dry

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! Stay tuned early next week for some very exciting news and some blog candy!

Raise the Bar Guest Designer

Good morning! I was so excited to be given the opportunity to be a Guest Designer (aka Bar-Tender) over at Raise the Bar this week! Joni is so sweet and I love the inspiration I get from their challenges!

I couldn't wait to ink up this adorable new TGF Flirty Anya stamp. Isn't she sweet?! It's my first time using their stamps and I think they are so cute and fun! I just love her polka dotted dress! I colored her with copics (listed below) and cut her out with my Spellbinders Standard Circles Large. The designer papers are from BoBunny Sophie collection. She has a flower in her hair that I did color, but when I realized this mini rose matches the card I just had to add it to her hair!

I love the sketch for this challenge. It allows the image to take center stage and still include all kinds of yummy elements with plenty of room...like my lace ribbon and matching flower, crystal dots and I can't forget about the sentiment...she's definitely a Girlfriend! The edges of all the papers are inked up with some ColorBox inks in pink pastel and blue lagoon. The was so much fun to make and I love the colors of this card...it's very me!

My Crafty Recipe:
Stamps: The Greeting Farm - Flirty Anya, CTMH Ms. Chillin' sentiment
Inks: Memento tuxedo black (image) and rich cocoa (sentiment), ColorBox pink pastel and blue lagoon
Paper: BoBunny Sophie, BoBunny double dot
Copics: BG000, C1, E000, E00, E13, E37, R20, R37, RV11, RV34, YR000
Spellbinders: Standard Circles Lg.
Other: Spare Parts lace ribbon, Fiskars scalloped circle punch, BoBunny Sophie sticker, Crystal Stickers pink dots, Recollections mini rose

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

paradise...and chillaxin'

(This card was chosen as Chic of the Week #36!!! Thanks!)

Hi there! I was hoping to have a minute today to get this posted so I could make it in time for the Just Us Girls Challenge 36...oh, and it's also for the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger - Time to Chillax! I was "triggered" by the pinks and oranges in the popsicles (they are my favorite flavors too!) I love popsicles and summer...and what could be more summer than hibiscus! This card reminds me of my daughter...she loves these colors and it just says "FUN!"

I used the Close To My Heart Extreme Happiness stamp set and stamped the flowers with orange ink, the centers and definition with Autumn Leaves Stampology Pink Sapphire ink and the stamens with Stampology Topaz ink. The dp is from WRMK Tiffany's paper pad and the ribbon is from Autum Leaves French Twist collection. I had to take this picture with our work camera and try my best to edit it with an online editor, so I apologize for the 'not so perfect' colors too.

I hope you like it...Thanks for stopping by!
