Hi there and Happy Monday! The Shabby Tea Room Challenge has us using this beautiful inspiration photo chosen by Debbie! I just love pink and black and that's what you'll need to use on your card or project this week (along with any neutral)! Our theme is called Pink Wedded Bliss and our wonderful sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish!

Here's a fun image called Red Hat 2, but who said it had to be red, right?! It's colored up with some Copics and I added a little sparkle to the center of the flowers on the hat with a metallic gel pen. Here's all the details on the details...embossed background paper, BoBunny pink dp, Spellbinders oval and scalloped oval dies used on the image, MFT border die, TPC Studio sentiment, seam binding ribbon with glittery brad and gems in the corner (of course...sarcasm intended)! That about sums up this sweet card!

Tea for Two at the Shabby Tea Room!

Hi there and Happy Monday! Are you ready for this week's Shabby Tea Room challenge?! I am! I'm going back to work today after my vacation, but here's a beautiful inspiration photo chosen by our hostess, Sheri, for you to have fun with! The theme she chose this week is Tea for Two! Please use this inspiration photo and the colors BLUE AND GREEN on your card or project! Our sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish! I sure hope you'll join us!

Here's my Tea Time themed card featuring the Two for Tea teapot image! I layered up these great blue and green papers, cut out this great shape with Spellbinders dies, added a bright white doily and this oh-so-pretty white sheer gathered ribbon. I cut my own chipboard frame using the smaller dies too. Then, I inked them with white ink and added a coating of Diamond Stickles. There's more of Deb's Simple Treasures seam binding here, a sweet mini rose, some trinket pins and my sentiment from PTI tied on with some twine!

Happy 4th of July!

My adorable image from Robyn's Fetish is called Seashells for Sale! She's sitting on the beach having a ball, selling shells and enjoying her 4th of July holiday! I colored her with Copics and cut her out with one of my favorite Spellbinders dies...Labels Eight! I added my sentiment and basket topper stamp from a PTI set and colored them in too! There's some shabby seam binding for a bow, some stars cut with a Fiskars punch and a splash of bling atop lots of layers.

Something Special...at The Shabby Tea Room!

Hi there! I hope you had a beautiful weekend. We're gearing up for my son's high school graduation this week, so we're super busy, but it's time for a new Shabby Tea Room challenge! This week, our sponsor is Robyn's Fetish and I'm your hostess. I have chosen our theme called Technique Week - Emboss It! You can use dry or heat embossing on your card or project this week. I hope you'll join us!

I made a card that holds a sweet treat in this adorable mini shoppig bag made from a die cut by Taylored Expressions. I decorated the bag with some of my background dp and embossed it with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and used a dark pink ink to bring out the texture. There's also some embossing using the Cuttlebug Stylized Flowers folder on the yellow dp behind the little bag.

It's all topped off with a big green grosgrain bow, some Spellbinders flourishes, a pretty rose and my Cake image by Robyn's Fetish that was colored with Copics. I added a little butterfly cut with a MS punch and decorated it with some gems. My sentiment is also from Taylored Expressions and has a couple more gems to hightlight it!

Easter Blessings

Hi there! It's almost Easter and I put out all my decorations this weekend! I have the whole family over for Easter dinner, so I have a lot to do between now and then! Even if you don't celebrate Easter, Spring is the perfect time to bring out the pretty pastels and brighten up the whole house!

This week at The Shabby Tea Room, we want you to use this beautiful inspiration photo (above) to show us some Spring Colors! You don't have to use eggs or even Easter, just get Springy with these colors! Our sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish! Here's my Spring Colors card...

I did however, choose to use eggs and this Easter Egg image from Robyn's Fetish was perfect for my card! It's colored with Copics and distressed a little with some Tattered Rose Ranger Distress ink as well as the Spellbinders labels eight shape underneath. I added a strip of yellow cardstock to my base punched with a Martha Stewart edge punch and some pearls to adorn the corners! A pretty bow from some of Deb's Simple Treasures vintage seam binding and a pearl flourish are the finishing touches here!

Are you ready to see lots of green? You know, St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner...and that means lots of green! At The Shabby Tea Room Challenge, our sponsor is Robyn's Fetish and we have a beautiful green four-leaf clover inspiration photo for you to create with this week! Here it is...


For my card, I used the Primitive Bear image from Robyn's Fetish and added a shamrock from the MFT a la mode stamp set called Wishing You Luck. My sentiment is from a Crafty Secrets stamp set. This adorable little bear is colored with Copics, cut out with an oval die and layered atop some shamrock paper, an embossed layer and green and kraft cardstock. A simple bow is adorned with a beaded pin and a few pearls finish the corners!

I Heart U...

Hi there! It's time for a color challenge of sorts at The Shabby Tea Room! Melissa is our hostess and she is asking us to use the inspiration photo below to create a project with the colors pink, green and brown and you must also use a heart! Our sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish! Here is the inspiration photo...so cute!



I used two Robyn's Fetish images on my card...Fruity Strawberries (which I cut off the strawberries and used the flower and leaves) and the I {heart} U image. I colored them with Copics and cut them out. I used the Waltzingmouse sketch this week too! I topped this flourish vellum with a pink panel and added a K & Co. die cut, some lace, my cut out flower with a Recollections blingy center, my heart and some pearls! Voila'!

Snowmen Melt my Heart!

It's the first ever Sketch challenge at The Shabby Tea Room and I am your hostess! You can see the sketch below...I really hope you'll join us! Our sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish and you could win a great prize. I made two cards using my sketch. The first one is a little on the girly side and the second is done with bright fun colors!

I used Robyn's Snowmen Word Art and Frosty dah Snowman for this first card. They are both colored with Copics and I cut out my snowman with a Spellbinders heart. The snowflake die is from Whimsy Stamps. A big pink bow and some pearls add to final touches!

For my second card, I used the Frosty dah Snowman again along with Sammy dah Snowman. They are colored with Copics, cut out and popped up together to make a great pair! I love the fun colors of the snowflakes on this paper! The snowflakes die cuts are a Martha Stewart punch. There's some white, sheer polka dotted ribbon and the American Crafts snowflake ribbon. A few gems and it's complete! The sentiment is from Verve Stamps.

You're a Dream Come True

Good Morning! I hope your holiday weekend was wonderful! What could be sweeter than this beautiful inspiration photo...so girly and cute! At The Shabby Tea Room challenge this week, you can use this adorable little baby room as your inspiration to make something sweet for our Shabby Chic Baby theme...or for a little girl! Some Birdie's Thinking of You

Hi there - I hope your week is starting off on a good note! It's time for another fun Shabby Tea Room challenge! This week our theme is "Consider it CASED"...so all you need to do is CASE (which means copy and slightly edit) a Shabby Girl DT card! Please let us know which Shabby Girl's card you cased when you post it on your blog! The sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish and she has generously provided the DT with digital images to use this week!

My image is called "Waking Up Ms. Birdie" and I simply loved the bird on this one! It's so cute and has a very simple birdhouse with daisies! I colored my image with Copics and matted it on a yellow cardstock to match the daisies. Then I layered up some October Afternoon dp and a strip of off white linen-like dp over some polka dotted paper on a brown cardstock card base. I stamped the Impression Obsession sentiment and matted with more of the floral dp. All of my edges are inked with ColorBox chestnut roan ink. I finished it off with a simple tied knot in a piece of polka dotted ribbon. I kept this one pretty simple and I like the almost country feel of it!
