Hi there! Today is a very special day for two reasons...First, it's a Birthday Celebration theme at Paper Sundaes! I'm honoring one of the blog owners, Christine, since her birthday was last week and you'll never guess how old she was! Secondly, it's my last official post as a Sundae Girl.
This week our sponsor is Simon Says Stamp and you can get this adorable Nellie Snellen image there...it's called Dawn with Birthday Cake...and she is so stinkin' cute! She's colored with Copics, cut out with Spellbinders circle dies and matted with the some BoBunny Double Dot in green and Spellbinders Lacey Circle dies using BoBunny Double Dot in pink. Those giant numbers are from Papertrey Ink and are hanging like a little ornament from a sparkly blue ribbon. There's some roses, flourishes and some pearls of course! Here's a look at the inside of my card...the sentiment is from My Favorite Things!
What Birthday Celebration would be complete without a little gift? I made this little box to match using The Cutting Cafe's Long Window Box. I used the same Basic Grey Urban Prairie dp and added an acetate panel on the window. It's dressed up using some of the same embellishments to match the card!
Here's the set...what's in the box is going to be a surprise for the birthday girl, so I made a sleeve around it to hold the embellies...that way, I can open it up and fill the box and put it all back together easily!
I would just like to say how thankful I am for the team at Paper Sundaes for being there when I needed them and all the positive encouragement I have received from them during my time on the DT. They are a very special group of women who are talented, kind and generous! I will truly miss them and I hope to keep in touch in blogland often! (hint, hint ladies!)
Wanna join in the fun celebrating Christine's birthday and win a prize too? Check out all the details at Shana's blog!
Be sure to stop by the Paper Sundaes Challenge to see what the rest of the Design Team has to show you and meet the new DT ladies as well...they're fabulous! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
