Love You

 Hi there! Wanna know what time it is?! It's time for a new challenge at Paper and Such! This one is right up my alley too! The theme for this challenge is Wings and Things! So use something on your card or project that has wings! Too easy...right?!

I just love me some butterflies and the Wings and Such stamp set has the sweetest little butterflies. I paired it up with a sentiment from that set too along with the small Daisies image. Another one of my favorites here is this yummy paper combo from Simple Stories Fabulous and a little MME too! I added a scalloped die cut strip, some lace, ribbon and a sweet little wooden butterfly button tied up with some brown string.Oh, and a few pearls too!

Hi there! Just popping in to show you a cute little gift card I made using the Bitty Love stamp set from Paper and Such! I just love leaving little notes and cards in my son's dorm...I even hide them for him to find after I'm gone! Corny...I know! That's where I think this one will go.

 

 

I used my Spellbinders dies for my image and mat and then used a hole punch to match the pattern on the card base. The 'rock' is colored with Copics and a little twine dresses it up a bit! Don't want to get too girly since it is for my son!

 

 

Oh, and I have to wish a Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter Julia! She is 15 today!

Here's more paper from the DCWV Mariposa collection! Doesn't it just accent my little butterfly friend perfectly!?! I colored it with Copics and added some blingy Stickles to the wings. My sentiment is stamped directly onto the sheer ribbon after the card was assembled. It's a neat effect! A big gem flourish just finishes this card off nicely!

Paper and Such August Sneak Peek!

Hi there! It's my turn to sneak peek the new set being released at Paper and Such on August 9th! This beautiful set is called Wings and Such! 

I started with paper from the DCWV Mariposa collection and stamped my butterfly image and sentiment at the same time directly onto the dp. I colored it with Copics and added some ribbons and a corner of gems!

Hi there! It's a Happy Day today! I love making my own gift cards for presents and here's one I'm showing over at the Paper and Such Blog using the Paper and Such Daisies stamp set.

I stamped my image directly onto my kraft paper and added a little bit of color with my Copics. My sentiment is part of two different sentiments from the same set. A few pearls and a big black sheer bow and voila'!

Heart Strings

Hi there! It's time for a new challenge at the Paper and Such Blog!  You'll love the theme...this one is called Just Stitch It!! I made a pretty tag for the challenge using the Heart Strings set!

I tried to use up my scraps (as a personal challenge) and this Memory Box paper has been around for a little too long! The ribbons and twine are also from my cut pieces bin. I added some zigzag stitching on the sides and a little flower spray!

Red, White and Blue at Paper and Such!

Hi there! I'm a little late with my post, but better late than never, right?! It's time for a new challenge at the Paper and Such Blog! Since the 4th of July holiday was right around the corner, we're feeling patriotic...so the theme for this one is all about the Red, White and Blue!  Here's my card...

It's no secret this is one of my favorite little puppy images and it's from the Patriot and Friends set! I colored this little sweetie to look like our new puppy we'll be getting in a few weeks. She's a birthday present for my daughter! There she is over to the left! Isn't she adorable?! Her name is Lacey and I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot of her on my blog! 


Back to my card! Who doesn't love a puppy with a little bandana?! I am always looking for ways to use my bandana papers and this one just "fits"!

I added a strip of embossed cardstock, some ribbon and a bow and a little bling on the flowers of the bandana as well as the puppy's scarf! Oh and my sentiment of course from the same stamp set!

Here's my card for the hop...

I started by stamping the embroidery hoop image and sentiment on some burlap fabric. I added a little color with some Copics, adhered it to some black cardstock, carefully cut it out and popped it up for some dimension. My dp is from MME and I machine zigzag stitched around the pink houndstooth paper. I just added a sheer ribbon and bow and some black beads!

Home Sweet Home

Hi there! It's my turn to sneak peek the new set being released at Paper and Such on July 9th! This nifty set is called Heart Strings and you are gonna love every bit of it! There are four great sentiments and three images including this one of a little stitched house! It's hard to tell in the picture but the word SWEET is in cross stitch!

I cut out a circle card and added another circle cut with the Spellbinders Lacey Circles die then topped it with another circle cut dp. Lots of layers including my sentiment and my popped up image highlighted with a little color courtesy of my Copics. A heart gem covers the heart on the image and a few more gems accent the word 'home.' Some ribbon and a bow are the finishing touch!

Snips and Snails and...Puppy Dog Tails!

Hi there! It's time once again for a new challenge and the Paper and Such blog! The theme for this one is called Snips and Snails...and Puppy Dog Tails!

This little fella is from the Patriot and Friends stamp set and he is so cute! I colored him with tones of gray to match my MME plaid paper and cut it out with my Spellbinders dies. I added some seam binding, a few buttons and my sentiment from the Kids Speak set.

The Song In My Heart

Hi there! Over at the Paper and Such Blog...I'm showing you how you can use the Paper and Such sentiments and beautiful paper to easily make a pretty card in less time.

I used one of the sentiments from the Song In My Heart set that we just re-released this month and paired it up with a gorgeous papers from my favorite paper company...My Minds Eye! And...did I mention the Paper and Such Store sells My Minds Eye paper pads! You probably already knew that!  I just added a little black trim, a seam binding bow topped with an antique bronze brad, a few roses and some pearls! TADA!

Super quick and easy using a great sentiment and some beautiful paper and embellishments!

Hi there! It's time for a Sneak Peek at one of the new June Releases at Paper and Such!

Not only did I use the Deer Dad image from the Paper and Such Store, but you can find the papers I used there as well...they are My Minds Eye Howdy Doody and Fiddlesticks! My image is colored with Copics and I stamped a sky background. I added some twine, a wooden button and a little paperclip keeping it quite masculine!

Hi there! We're right in the middle of the Paper and Such Birthday Bash!  My Anniversary Challenge theme is Black and White Plus One Color!  You can choose any color, but just one!  Here's my card using Pink as my color!

I have always loved this image from the Basketful of Flowers set. I added just a hint of pink to the image with my Copics and filled the basket with pink flowers. I have been hoarding this ribbon for a while now too and this was the perfect opportunity to use it! There's a little embossing on the bottom panel and I added a little tulle and another flower to my sentiment banner!

A Pet Silhouette

Hi there! You probably already know that silhouettes are all the rage these days (it's even the name of my blog!), but did you know that you can make any stamp with a classic and recognizable shape into a great silhouette?

That's just what I did with this adorable little puppy from the Patriot and Friends set! I stamped my image and colored it in with my black Copic...it really is that easy!  I could have stopped there, but I decided that I wanted an embossed background so I cut it out, inked the edges black and attached it to this brick embossed oval. I love how it just pops! I added some ribbon and a bow, a matching punched butterfly and a little black bling!  The inside has the pet sympathy sentiment from the set too.

I fell in love with the Strawberries set the minute I saw it! There are four images and three sentiments in this great set! I colored the largest image with Copics and cut it out with my Spellbinders circles. I added my a scalloped border topped with some ribbon and a bow.One of the little strawberry images was cut out and popped up on my sentiment. A few yellow gems in the flower centers are the finishing touches!
