Miss You

Hi there! See those great colors up there? Well, they are the super fun colors for the next By LORi Designs Challenge...Soft Sky, Regal Rose, Pear Pizazz and Barely Banana to be exact, but you can just use those as a guide! I love this combo and knew exactly what I wanted to do with it!

Here's Lollipop Presley and all her cuteness! I just adore her little pink bunny slippers and her sweet bunny friend! I colored her with Copics and paired her up with some pretty striped dp with a scalloped border.

I am starting to use stitching more and more these days...I love how it looks on cards, I just forget about the sewing machine over in the corner when I'm in my crafty trance! I added some pearls and my sweet sentiment from Flourishes to this cutie and topped it off with a big 'ole bow! I get lots of compliments on my bows, but I hope everyone knows I use a Bow-Easy...I just love these big, puffy ones though...I guess it's all in the ribbon you use!

Happy Birthday!

Edit: All I can say is thank goodness for prescheduled posts (although I scheduled it for the wrong time...again!) and I'm glad I already had this image colored ahead of time! I'm going to keep this short and sweet today! I just want to say thanks to everyone for the well wishes, positive thoughts and prayers as I go through this scary and unpredictable condition with my eye which requires monthly injections. I am truly blessed to have such good friends, both close by and in blogland! It really helps to know you care! Now back to the regularly scheduled program...

Hi there! It's Thursday and that means there's a new By LORi Designs Challenge going on! Although I'm not playing along with the actual colors this week, I do have a card to show you. I colored this oh-so-cute By LORi Designs Puddle Jumper image named Tabitha with Copics and then layered her up with lots of buttons cut with a Sizzix die set and tied up with some embroidery floss! She's cut out with a Spellbinders die and I added a pretty ruffly bow and some pearls!

Hello Sunshine!

Hi there! It's time again for a fun new By LORi Designs Challenge! These colors just sing Spring to me...here are the color names... Pacific Point, Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron, and White! Here's my card for this week's challenge...

I just think this little Lollipop Ella is the cutest character! I colored her with Copics, cut it out with my Spellbinders oval dies and layered her up with some BoBunny Double Dot turquoise and this fun yellow dp from October Afternoon. I added a pretty satin ribbon and dotty bow, a few gems and topped it off with a big 'ole daisy from K & Co! My sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe' and is part of a great set called One Spring Day! I colored the flowers with Copics and added a little Diamond Stickles to match the sparkle on my daisy above! All of my edges are inked with Memento turquoise ink too!

Clouds...

Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.

Hi there! It's time for a super fun new color palette at By LORi Designs this week! I love this color combo of Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizazz and Regal Rose

I colored this sweet new By LORi Designs image called Ella's Umbrella with Copics and layered her up with some fun MME Dreamy papers.

This great sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs new Spring Letter Seals set at Whimsy Stamps and I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch 109 from this week! I jazzed up the sketch with some mesh ribbon, a beaded trinket pin, a little cloud cut with a PTI die and some pearls!

Stop on over at the By LORi Designs Challenge to see what the Design Team has made for you with this great color combination! I hope you'll play along too

By LORi Designs...

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Of course, what St. Patty's Day Celebration would be complete without a little green...or how about a whole lotta green! This week's By LORi Designs Challenge is all about green...Garden Green, Wild Wasabi, Certainly Celery and White! I hope you'll get your green on and join us this week!

Here's Lollipop Ethan all colored with Copics and hanging out with his skateboard! I like to keep the boy cards Clean and Simple, so I just added my Verve sentiment and a few black dots!

A By LORi Designs Birthday Boy!

Hi there! Just playing along this week with the By LORi Designs Challenge #8! Here's Puddle Jumper Birthday Ezra all ready for a birthday party! I did alter the original image a bit by resizing the birthday cake and placing it in his hand, but that's what's so much fun about digis...you can move things around just like a rubber stamp and if you want to move it, you don't have to start all over again!

Ezra is colored with Copics and sits beside a few die cut balloons made with the Whimsy Stamps balloon dies. This BG paper had the perfect colors for the challenge this week!

I hope you'll join us for this week's challenge...stop by and check it out!

Let's Do Lunch

I am so loving coloring up these simply adorable images from By LORi Designs! It's Thursday and that means we have a new color challenge for you! This week's colors (as shown above) are Chocolate Chip, Pear Pizazz, Melon Mambo and Regal Rose! And here's my card...

My girlfriend and I are waaaay overdue for going out to lunch, so I'm going to send her this card to remind her of that! Here's Lollipop Abby all dressed up in her paper-pieced outfit and ready to go! I had a little bit of this sweet Kaisercraft paper hanging around, so I paired it up with some BoBunny double dot cardstock and it was perfect for the challenge!

The layers here include a few strips of different papers from the collection, a Prima rose, some MS punched leaves, pearls (of course!) and my sentiment which is from a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp set.

Happiness Is...By LORi Designs!

It's time for another By LORi Designs Challenge and this Week #5's color combo is one of my faves...Rich Razzleberry, Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso and Certainly Celery!

I have colored the adorable Harper with Copics and paired her up with one of my favorite BoBunny lines called Jazmyne! It's perfect for this week's challenge! I used one of the circle stickers from the Jazmyne collection and added a strip of pink cut with a Martha Stewart edge punch and topped with a leaf motif ribbon and some pearls. Then comes the spray of roses and suede leaves and a big sheer bow!

Here's the inside of my card...with Harper's doll!
I added another strip of pink using the same edge punch topped with a circle cut from the striped dp to highlight her doll who is also colored with Copics. I just stamped the word "YOU" to complete my sentiment and ta-da!

Be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Challenge to see what the rest of the Design Team has to share with you today. I'm sure you will be inspired to join us this week!

It's Your Day! and Great News!

Wanna know my Great News! There's a new Design Team in town and I'm on it!!! By LORi Designs has a new weekly color challenge and recently had a DT call...so here I am with my first card for the By LORi Designs Challenge #4! I love, love, love color challenges and {heart}Lori Boyd's adorable images, so this is a perfect combination for me! Here's the sweet graphic for this week's color combo...

My card features BLD's Puddle Jumper... Birthday Emma! She also comes with a present and a Happy Birthday sentiment, but I chose to use just her and her cute balloons this time! I colored my image with Copics and cut her out with the large oval Spellbinders die leaving the balloons to peek over the edge! She's popped up on top of some green cardstock embossed with the Cuttlebug Floral Fantasy folder...and...this is my first post with a card with real, sewing machine stitching on it...I know...it's about time, right! (I had to do a bit of stampy re-organizing to make room for the sewing machine! Check that off the list!)

There's another panel embossed with the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday folder, a couple layers of white, grosgrain ribbon topped with a big 'ole bow and button and a few gems! My sentiment is from the PTI Friendship Jar set and cut out with the small ovals set from Spellbinders then popped up to match my image. A couple more gems give it the finishing touch!

Be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Challenge Blog to see some more of the new Design Team projects today! I hope you'll join us and play along in the challenge too! By LORi Designs even has images as low as $1!

Winter Wishes...

Hi there! It's Monday and time for a new Shabby Tea Room Challenge! This week, Cathy has chosen a beautiful, wintery photo as our inspiration...and you can use it to make a Winter Themed card or project! Here is the inspiration photo...

And, our fabulous sponsor this week is by LORi designs! You could win a $10 credit to her store!

For my card, I used this adorable Winter Dana Puddle Jumper image which you can find on the Puddle Jumper page of her website...HERE! I colored her with Copics and cut her out. I am loving this wintery collection of papers by WRMK. They are just what I needed for this project! I paper-pieced her jacket and popped her up on top of these yummy layers of papers and pearl swirls! Lots of wintery goodness here including some of Deb's vintage seam binding, a snowflake die cut, a felt snowflake and a little felt flower topped by another pearl! My sweet little sentiment is from Verve.

Ticket to Love...

Here's one that's just for fun! I think the images at By LORi Designs are so cute. They are simple, sweet and fun and that's what I think appeals to me. This one is a Wagon Tales Puddle Jumper called Katie and you can find her HERE!

I colored her with Copics and cut a slit at the top of her wagon. Then I punched out my hearts and tucked them in the slot so they look more like they are inside the wagon. I layered up some ribbon, a felt heart, a flower and this ticket stamped with a PTI ticket sentiment. A few pearls and she's all ready to give to a sweet little someone I know!

I am using the By LORi Designs Challenge #1 color combination as shown here for their first challenge...

Have a great night and stay warm!
