I {heart} you - Tiddly Inks Fabby Friday!

Hi there! It's time for my final Fabby Friday as a member of the  Tiddly Inks Design Team! I can't believe how fast the term has gone by and I'm really going to miss the DT and getting an early peek at Christy's great images!

This sweet little girl is Danni and she is only part of the image called Danni and Danny.  I colored her up with Copics and layered my daughter's favorite color combo together along with some fun flowers and leaves. I added a Lawn Fawn sentiment and a few gems in the flower centers for a little bling! Maybe this one will find it's way to her college dorm soon!

Hi there! It's time for another Fabby Friday at Tiddly Inks!  Here's a colorful card using my favorite character Wryn!  This sweet image is called Owlways Love You! Happy Graduation Julia!

Hi there!  It's time for another Tiddly Inks Fabby Friday post! But first, I want to acknowledge my beautiful daughter Julia's Graduation Day! Tonight we will watch her walk across the stage and graduate from high school. We are so proud of her and all that she has accomplished so far. She is headed to High Point University in North Carolina in the Fall and she will be a great teacher one day! Here she is in her cap...her original tassel was red, black and white, but the National Honor Society tassels are gold! She'll also wear a gold sash for being in the top 10% of her graduating class!

This sweet Wryn - Graduate - Go Great Places image is simply adorable. I asked Christy to create her since my daughter was graduating this year! It was perfect timing! I used Julia's school colors for my card and added a little gold to match the sash. I love this cool IO Graduation Day die...it is perfect for the background. The graduation cap die makes a great addition to my easel card. Did you know Tiddly Inks is having a Take It Easel-y card challenge right now? Go HERE to check it out and join in the fun!

She is ready to scoot anywhere with her pot of flowers. And speaking of flowers, today's new Tiddly Inks challenge theme is May Flowers! You can find all the details on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.

You could say this one took me a little longer to make! It has been colored and paper-pieced, shaded and shaded some more, then fussy cut all around. I added six die cuts...fence, grass, rolling hill, fence in distance, a little cloud, my sentiment and a sweet butterfly! This card is full of polka dots too - my favorite!

Have a Royal Birthday!

Hi there! I just popped in here before work to throw my hat in the ring for the Tiddly Inks April DT Call! I have decided to get back to doing what makes me happy, so here I am. And, here's a TI Sweet Tooth cutie called Let Us Eat Cake! She's adorbs and I love making cards for little princesses!

I paper-pieced her girly dress and added a lot of bling to this card! Sequins, gems and glitter do the trick! I added a die cut banner and changed up the patterns! This sweet little girl is going to make my friend's daughter feel like a princess on her birthday! Who wouldn't love to get this big butter cream cake on their birthday too!?!

Wish me luck! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

You're The Best!

Hi there! I had a little time this morning, so I decided to color and create something just for fun!

Here's a cutie from Tiddly Inks called Awww Thanks! I decided to start coloring her last night and so I did what I always do and colored the skin first. Then, when I woke up today I decide to take another peek in my craftroom and saw her just waiting to be colored. So, I sat down and got started, but I started with her pants. I never start with the pants!!! Oh well, no big deal right? Well, it is a big deal if you color her pants denim blue and then you don't have ANY blue dp that's even close to denim blue!!! So this is where it all got crazy!

I searched high and low for something to coordinate with her blue pants and I found this great BG banner paper in my stash. Yay for me! Ok...now I have tons of colors to choose from for the rest, right? Right! So, I color away and finally finish the card! DONE! I couldn't figure out what was 'wrong' with my card...you would probably say nothing if you saw it, but it wasn't what I wanted. Then I started pulling it apart...WHAT? "What was I doing," I kept thinking to myself! The original version had a ribbon banner die across the bottom and a different sentiment. After I took it apart except for the dp on the base I was looking at all my pieces...Ok, now what! Then, I was just staring at the card...at the banner paper...duh, I wanted to use a banner!

So, out came the MFT and Whimsy banner dies...combined them for the a small banner using a PTI sentiment, added some twine, wooden buttons and a big 'ole bow in her hair. That just left one more detail...a little bling on the flowers for the Tiddly Inks challenge and finally, she's DONE! She's perfect for the SCS Central theme too - friends and flowers...since this is a card for one of my dd's besties and it has flowers on it!

I hope you like this final version. It was one of those 'marathon' cards! Thanks for stopping by too!

Thanks...

Hi there! Just popping in to share a card I made for a couple of challenges! I haven't been able to find the time here lately to play along with some of my faves, but I had a bit of time this evening so I took advantage of it!

Here's Wryn, a new character by Tiddly Inks, and this image is called New Nest! I colored her and her little birdy friend with Copics and cut them out with my Spellbinders circle and scalloped circle dies. The color palette is from the Tiddly Inks Challenge 78 where we're using green, yellow, orange and blue. It's so Springy and I am ready for Spring so I couldn't resist! This super fun sketch is from The Craft's Meow January-February Card Sketch Challenge!

I added some roses, a shabby seam binding bow, some punched leaves, a little hand-cut bird and my sentiment by JustRite Stampers. There's a bit of MFT here too...the doily die border! Thanks for taking a peek and have a great evening!

Challenges:
Tiddly Inks 78 - Color - Green, Yellow, Orange, Blue

You Rock My World!

Hi there! I hope you are enjoying your weekend...I know I am! It's Sunday and that means it's time for another Paper Sundaes Challenge! This week, our theme is Stripes and our fabulous new sponsor is Tiddly Inks! I just love Christy's images and I know you will too, so play along for your chance to win!

This Tiddly Inks image is called Supah Star! I just love her star-shaped glasses and her super cool outfit! I colored her with Copics and then I whipped out the WRMK Tiffany's papers for this one...they sparkle and shine and have such fun colors! (I tried something new and tried my hand at super star platinum blonde hair!) You can find the stripes for this challenge in the dp and the star I positioned around my sentiment. The sentiment is a digi from the Wild Side Ticket Sentiments by Raindrop Echo Designs at Whimsy Stamps! A pink bow, sparkly star and some gems are the finishing touches on this one! I also added a little Stickles to her cool shades and her outfit!

Stop by the Paper Sundaes Challenge blog to see what else the Design Team has created using Tiddly Inks images - some super cute inspiration for sure!

A Tiddly Inks ATC

Just a quick post while I'm at work today. I didn't want to miss the Tiddly Inks Challenge #24 to make an ATC. I like this size project for lots of reasons, but today I'll just stick to the details. This is Poppy from the Gothic Cute collection.
She is colored with copics and I highlighted a few spots with a paint pen. She is cut out using a Spellbinders die and I had to add a little bit of pearls and sparkly sheer ribbon to glam it up a bit too. I've been working on coloring black hair and black clothing...it turned out ok if you ask me! And I got to use some more of this yummy BoBunny paper!

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget about my Follow Me blog candy...you can find it HERE...until October 17th! If I get to 100 followers by October 17th, I'll add another Bonus Candy! Have a great day!

Happy Halloween!

Hi there! I have another card to share today...it's cute and fun and that's what we need right now on a rainy Monday here! I used this adorable witch who is obviously on her way to a party! She is called Spooky Birthday from Tiddly Inks and you can get her here! Their challenge ending today is to use Diamond Glaze or Crackle and as you can see from my inset pic, I went for the glossy on both the cake and the gift bag!

I colored her with copics and I have to say I am still not a fan of coloring black on images, but I am learning! I couldn't wait to use this funky plaid Halloween ribbon! This paper is just too cute with all the candy and goodies! Of course I had to add a sparkly crow and a little star charm to bling it up a bit...oh and there's yellow Stickles on her hat too! The sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe' Halloween This and That Set! A few colored pearls and tada!
